WAKE FOREST, NC – Motorists should continue to expect delays along Wait Avenue/NC 98 in the vicinity of Middlegame Way/Bowling Forest daily from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. through June. Fred Smith Company, a contractor working at the future site of Wake Forest Fire Station #6, will continue to reduce to one lane with intermittent two-way traffic this portion of Wait Avenue/NC 98, so crews can install a water line and other utilities.
Signage and flaggers are in place to manage traffic flow and safely direct motorists through the work area. Delays are expected, so motorists may wish to avoid the area and take an alternate route.
