WAKE FOREST, NC – From now (Monday, March 30) through Thursday, April 2, from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. daily, Fred Smith Company, a contractor working at the future site of Wake Forest Fire Station #6, will reduce to one lane with intermittent two-way traffic a portion of Wait Avenue in the vicinity of Middlegame Way. The temporary lane closure is necessary to allow crews to locate utility lines.
Signage and flaggers will be in place to manage traffic flow and safely direct motorists through the work areas. Delays are expected, so motorists may wish to avoid these areas and take an alternate route.
