WAKE FOREST, NC –American Heritage Fence, a contractor working on the South Franklin Street Widening Project in Holding Village, will reduce to one lane with intermittent two-way traffic, the portion of South Franklin Street from Meadow Flowers Avenue to Heritage Greens Drive daily from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. through Friday, July 10. The temporary lane closure is necessary to allow crews to install a fence along the retaining wall.
Signage and flaggers will be in place to manage traffic flow and safely direct motorists through the work areas. Delays are expected, so motorists may wish to avoid these areas and take an alternate route.
The Town of Wake Forest appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation as work continues on the South Franklin Street Widening Project. The initiative is a key investment in Wake Forest’s transportation infrastructure, and the Town is committed to keeping the community informed as progress moves forward.
