WAKE FOREST, NC – Beginning Friday, May 29, and continuing Tuesday-Friday, June 2-5, from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. each day, Park Construction of NC, a contractor working on the City of Raleigh’s “Wake Forest Water Main Replacement & Repair Project,” will perform roadway patching operations along portions of North Main Street from North Avenue to Oak Avenue. Work will progress in stages along this section of North Main, with crews working in different areas throughout this phase of the project.
Motorists should expect temporary lane closures, traffic shifts, construction equipment, and minor delays. Drivers are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the work zone, follow all posted signage and flagging operations, and allow additional travel time. Motorists should also remain attentive and respectful of construction personnel working in the area.
The Town appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as these improvements are completed. These efforts are part of ongoing infrastructure upgrades intended to improve utility reliability and roadway conditions within the corridor.
