WAKE FOREST, NC – Starting today (Monday, Sept. 21) and continuing from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. daily through mid-October, Big R Associates, a contractor working at Wheat Field II, will reduce to one lane with intermittent two-way traffic the portion of Forestville Road from Rogers Branch Road to McDonald’s and a portion of Rogers Branch Road between Forestville Road and Rogers Road.
The lane closures are necessary to widen Forestville Road and Rogers Branch Road.
Signage and flaggers will be in place to manage traffic flow and safely direct motorists through the work area. Delays are expected, so motorists may wish to avoid the area and take an alternate route.
