WAKE FOREST, NC – Park Construction of NC, a contractor working on the Wake Forest Water Main Replacement & Repair Project, has closed the portion of East Holding Avenue from South White Street to South Main Street/US 1A. The temporary closure is necessary to allow crews to tie in a water main. The road is expected to reopen by 5 p.m.
Flaggers and signage are in place to safely direct motorists around the work area. Delays are expected, so motorists may wish to avoid the area if possible and take an alternate route.
