The portion of Durham Road/NC 98 Business between Tyler Run Drive and South Wingate Street is closed due to a single vehicle crash.
At approximately 3 p.m., a vehicle veered off the road before striking and breaking a utility pole (see attached photos). No serious injuries were reported.
Wake Forest Police are directing traffic around the area. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and choose an alternate route.
There is no timetable for when the road will reopen.
