WAKE FOREST, NC – Beginning Wednesday, Nov. 12, and continuing weekdays from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. through late December, Park Construction of NC, a contractor working on the Wake Forest Water Main Replacement & Repair Project, will close portions of Chestnut Avenue, Elizabeth Avenue, Water Avenue, and Frye Street. The temporary road closures are necessary to allow crews to safely replace the water main along these roadways. Please note: Unforeseen conditions may arise causing delays to backfill operations or securing the jobsite at the end of the day.
Signage and flaggers will be in place managing traffic flow and safely directing motorists around the work area. Delays are expected, so motorists are encouraged to avoid the area if possible and take an alternate route. Please note: Homeowners will have access to their driveways and properties at all times.
