Traffic Alert – South Allen Road

Beginning Friday, June 27, and continuing weekdays from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. through July, Park Construction of NC, a contractor working on the Wake Forest Water Main Replacement & Repair Project, will close the portion of South Allen Road from Quail Drive to East Wait Avenue. The temporary road closure is necessary to allow crews to safely replace the water main along the roadway. Please note: Unforeseen conditions may arise causing delays to backfilling operations or securing the jobsite at the end of the day.

A signed detour will be in place directing motorists around the work area. Delays are expected, so motorists may wish to avoid the area and take an alternate route.
