WAKE FOREST, NC – The Northern Community Food Security Team (NCFST) and Ripe for Revival (501(c)3) are pleased to provide a mobile grocery store across from the Northern Regional Center, 350 E. Holding Ave., (typically) on the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 3-4:30 p.m. – rain or shine. Due to the holidays, Ripe for Revival is adjusting its schedule in November and December by coming to Wake Forest on the first and third Thursdays of each month (November 6 and 20; December 4 and 18).
Stocked with fresh produce, protein, and eggs from local and regional farmers, the Mobile Market makes these food products accessible and affordable to all, regardless of your budget. When shopping, there are limits on the amount of protein and eggs a consumer can purchase, but no limits on produce. At checkout, shoppers are given a suggested total. They can then pay the suggested amount, pay more (pay it forward), or pay what you can. Both cash and card payments are accepted.
As a bonus on Thursday, AmeriHealth Caritas NC Mobile Wellness Center will be onsite providing blood pressure screenings, Wi-Fi computer/printer access, and charging stations, as well as information on Medicaid. Wake Forest officials will also distribute the 2026 wall calendar.
