Police investigating early morning vehicle fires at local business

***UPDATE May 30 | 2:15 p.m. - Wake Forest Police and Fire investigators say the cause of this morning’s fire is undetermined but was not the result of a criminal act.

Although the fire was originally considered “suspicious,” police investigators have been able to rule out criminal activity as a cause.

The investigation revealed the fire started in or around one vehicle and spread to eight others. 

All businesses which had been evacuated from 203 Capcom Avenue have been cleared to reopen.

Wake Forest Police are investigating an early morning fire that damaged several vehicles at a business along Capcom Avenue.

At 3:16 a.m., the Wake Forest Police and Fire Departments responded to a reported fire involving several vehicles at North State Pools, located along the 200 block of Capcom Avenue. First arriving crews quickly controlled and extinguished the fire, but nine vehicles sustained damage.
