WAKE FOREST, NC – The Wake Forest Police Department is experiencing a Brightspeed network outage affecting its phone system. Brightspeed is aware of the issue and working to restore service.

In the meantime, community members in need of police assistance are encouraged to call the following numbers:

For non‑emergency calls, dial 919‑435‑9450.
For records requests, call 919‑435‑9599.
For fingerprinting or evidence, call 919-435-9592.
For emergencies, call 911.
