WAKE FOREST, NC – Wake Forest Power has scheduled a temporary power outage on Wednesday, May 13, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. that will affect approximately 12 customers in the Aston Apartments along the 1500 block of Woodfield Creek Drive.
The affected address will be 1501 Woodfield Creek Dr., apartments 101-104, 201-204, and 301-304.
The planned power outage is necessary, so crews can safely change out a single-phase electric service.
Wake Forest Power wishes to thank the affected customers in advance for their patience and understanding during Wednesday’s planned outage.
Wake Forest Power (WFP) has created the following page on its website to keep customers informed about planned power outages - https://bit.ly/WFPowerPlannedOutages. The page offers useful information about the reasons for planned outages, the ways WFP attempts to notify affected customers, and when, where, and why future outages are scheduled.
As a new initiative, WFP is installing temporary yard signs (as shown) to alert affected customers who can scan the QR code for more information about planned outages in their area.
