Overturned garbage truck causing delays along Dr. Calvin Jones Highway/NC 98 Bypass

Several lanes along east and westbound Dr. Calvin Jones Highway/NC 98 are closed in the vicinity of the Jones Dairy Road/Traditions Grande Boulevard intersection due to an overturned Republic Services truck. 

The incident is causing delays, so motorists are urged to avoid the area and choose an alternate route.

There is no word on injuries.
