NCFST Mobile Market returns to Wake Forest Thursday

Tuesday, June 24, 2025 - 3:13pm

The Northern Community Food Security Team (NCFST) and Ripe for Revival (501(c)3) are pleased to provide a mobile grocery store across from the Northern Regional Center, 350 E. Holding Ave., on the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 3-4:30 p.m. – rain or shine. Stocked with fresh produce, protein, and eggs from local and regional farmers, the NCFST Mobile Market returns to Wake Forest on Thursday, June 26.

Open to all community members, NCFST’s pay-what-you-can mobile grocery store makes these food products accessible and affordable to all, regardless of your budget. When shopping, there are limits on the amount of protein, dairy, and eggs a consumer can purchase, but no limits on produce. At checkout, shoppers are given a suggested total. They can then pay the suggested amount, pay more (pay it forward), or pay what you can. Both cash and card payments are accepted.

As a bonus Thursday, AmeriHealth Caritas NC Mobile Wellness Center will also be onsite providing blood pressure screenings, Wi-Fi computer/printer access, and charging stations, as well as information on Medicaid.
