Gas leak closes Falconhurst Drive/Kimble Ridge Drive intersection
***UPDATE - The gas leak at the intersection of Falconhurst Drive and Kimble Ridge Drive has been sealed, and the road has reopened.

Emergency personnel are on the scene of a ruptured gas line near the intersection of Falconhurst Drive and Kimble Ridge Drive. The gas line was ruptured by a road resurfacing crew working in the area.
Due to the ruptured gas line, traffic is blocked along portions of Falconhurst and Kimble Ridge. Motorists are urged to avoid the area and choose an alternate route.
Officials are monitoring the affected area for safety considerations. No evacuations have been ordered at this time.
Enbridge Gas crews are responding and will seal off the leak, but there is no timetable on when the roads will reopen.
