The portion of East Juniper Avenue from Meadowgrass Lane to Traditions Grande Boulevard has reopened. The road had been closed since mid-February to accommodate the Dunn Creek Culvert Replacement Project.
Funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), the Dunn Creek Culvert Replacement Project was designed to replace aging infrastructure and enhance safety along the East Juniper Avenue crossing of Dunn Creek. The initiative included:
- Removal of the existing pipe culverts.
- Installation of approximately 90 linear feet of cast-in-place box culvert.
- Construction of a multi-use path.
- Roadway improvements, including curb and gutter installation, asphalt resurfacing, and provisions for future road extensions.
