Crash closes northbound Capital Boulevard/US 1

***UPDATE: All lanes along northbound Capital Boulevard/US 1 have reopened.

Two additional people have been transported to a local hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The information below was distributed at 9:19 p.m.:

A crash involving three vehicles has closed all lanes of northbound Capital Boulevard/US 1 at South Main Street/Falls of Neuse Road.

A detour is in place. Motorists are urged to avoid the area and use an alternate route.

Emergency personnel are on the scene. One person is being transported to a local hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
