Crash closes Durham Road/NC 98 near Wake Union Church Road

Durham Road/NC 98 is back open.
The drivers of both vehicles involved in today’s crash were transported to a local hospital. There is no word on the extent of their injuries.
The following information was distributed today at 4:32 p.m.:
A crash involving two vehicles has closed the portion of Durham Road/NC 98 from Fawn Drive to Wake Union Church Road.
The crash is causing major delays, so motorists are urged to avoid the area and use an alternate route.
In addition, residents of Crenshaw Hall are unable to access the neighborhood via Quatrefoil Street.
Emergency personnel are on the scene. There is no word on injuries, but the road is expected to be closed for the next several hours.
