Bright Star Touring Theatre to present "Rosa Parks & Friends" Saturday at Alston-Massenburg Center

Bright Star Touring Theatre, a national professional touring theatre company based in Asheville, NC, will offer a free performance of “Rosa Parks & Friends” Saturday, Feb. 4, at 11 a.m. at the Alston-Massenburg Center, 416 N. Taylor St. 

Transporting the audience on an incredible journey through time, this production brings to life some of the most remarkable figures in history and offers a remarkable view of the challenges met by these amazing Black Americans.

“Rosa Parks & Friends” is part of the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre’s "Arts for All" free community performance series, which is supported by United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County.
