Wake Forest Downtown, Inc. is sponsoring the Wake Forest Charity Car Show on Saturday, June 17, 2017, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. The event will take place along South White Street in historic downtown Wake Forest.

This year's charity car show will benefit several local charitable organizations. Last year's car show contributed to Tri-Area Ministry, Wake Forest Optimist Club, Wake Forest Kiwanis Club, Wake Forest Woman's Club, and the Wake Forest High School JROTC.

Presented by Grand Sponsor Chris Leith Dodge/Ram, the free exhibit will showcase vehicles of all makes and models, including muscle cars, sports cars, pony cars, classic and antique autos, street rods and trucks. The car show will also feature a ‘Take-Apart-T’ Model T assembly demonstration, the Leith Kia Monster Truck, and the Wake Forest Fire Department's Jaws of Life demonstration. Food vendors will also be on site.  

Admission to the car show is free and open to the public.

Register Your Vehicle
Anyone wishing to enter a vehicle in the car show may register on the day of the event between 8 and 11 a.m. The registration cost is $20 per vehicle, and the intersection of South White Street and Elm Avenue will serve as the vehicle entry area.

In the event the weather forecast calls for rain on June 17, the car show may be rescheduled for Saturday, June 24. Organizers will make a decision on whether to proceed no later than 3 p.m. Friday, June 16. Updated information will be posted on this page and the Town's Facebook page and available by calling the Wake Forest Weather Line at 919-435-9569. Smart phone users who have downloaded the Town app will receive a push notification message concerning any schedule changes.
