Mayoral & Board of Commissioners Candidates Forum Oct. 24
The Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Wake Forest will host an informative and interactive Candidates Forum on Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 7-9 p.m. at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre, 405 S. Brooks St.

All of the candidates vying for mayor and the Board of Commissioners will be present. The two mayoral candidates are incumbent Mayor Vivian Jones and first-term Commissioner Jim Thompson, while the five candidates vying for two seats on the Board of Commissioners are Ned Jones, Thad Juszczak, Liz Simpers, John Van Ness and Bridget Wall-Lennon.

The event is free and open to the public. Seats will be filled on a first-come basis.

The Chamber of Commerce is inviting area residents to submit one question for the candidates.

The Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee will review the submissions and consider including one or more as part of the forum. MORE>>
