Case No. Ar-17-01 Amendment
Consideration of a Request Filed by Cip Construction Company For Major Architectural Design Review for the Bee Safe Storage To Be Located at 939 Gateway Commons Circle Being Wake County Tax Pin 1840-98-9097

The public will take notice that the Wake Forest Design Review Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 4:00 PM in the Board Chambers on the 2nd floor of the Wake Forest Town Hall. The purpose of the hearing is for consideration of a request filed by CIP Construction Company, for Major Architectural Design Review for an amendment to Case AR-17-01 for Bee Safe Storage to be located at 939 Gateway Commons Circle, being TAX PIN: 1840-98-9097. The Design Review Board will consider the request and may, in its discretion, choose to modify it.

Possession and Control of Abandoned Private Cemetery Properties
Intention of the Town of Wake Forest to Assume Possession and Control of Abandoned Cemetery

Pursuant to N.C. General Statuses 65-37, 65-39, 65-40 and 160A-344 and Resolution #98-24 on April 21, 1998, the Town of Wake Forest will assume possession and control of the abandoned private cemetery properties located near the intersection of North Taylor Street and East Walnut Avenue in the Town of Wake Forest, Wake County, North Carolina - currently known as the Mangum Cemetery. 

Any person, firm, partnership or corporation having an ownership interest in, or the right to be incurred within any of said private cemetery properties must make a claim, setting forth such right to the Ms. Magda Holloway, Public Director of Public Works & Utilities for the Town of Wake Forest in person or in writing at 234 Friendship Chapel Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587, on or before March 1, 2019.

Consideration of Text Amendments to the Wake Forest Unified Development Ordinance

The public will take notice that the Wake Forest Planning Board and the Board of Commissioners will hold a joint public hearing on Thursday, February 5, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. in the Wake Forest Town Hall.  The purpose of the hearing is to consider amending the Wake Forest Unified Development Ordinance, specifically, Chapter 2 District Provisions, Chapter 3 Supplemental Use Standards, Chapter 6 Subdivision and Infrastructure Standards, Chapter 9 Parking and Driveways, and Chapter 17 Definitions.

Copies of the proposed amendments are on file at the Wake Forest Community Development Department located at 301 S Brooks St, Wake Forest, NC 27587 and available for public review during business hours.

The public and interested parties should take notice that substantial changes might be made in the advertised proposal reflecting objections, debate, and discussion at the hearing.

The Planning Board will consider this request at its regular meeting on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 and may make a recommendation to the Board of Commissioners.   The Board of Commissioners, at its regular meeting on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, may consider this request and the recommendation of the Planning Board and may, in its discretion, choose to modify it.

The public will take notice that the Wake Forest Planning Board and the Board of Commissioners will hold a joint public hearing on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 7:30 PM on the 2nd floor of the Wake Forest Town Hall.  The purpose of the hearing is to consider the rezoning map amendment referenced above.

The Planning Board will consider the request at its regular meeting on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 7:30 PM and may make a recommendation to the Board of Commissioners. The Board of Commissioners, at its regular meeting on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 7:00 PM, will consider the petition and the recommendation of the Planning Board and may, in its discretion, choose to modify it.
