Smart Cycling Class
Designed for area residents ages 16 and older, the Smart Cycling Class will teach participants safe riding techniques, how to scan for automobiles, intersection safety tips and how to avoid road hazards, such as tree limbs, pot holes and rocks.
The class is $25 per person and $15 for each additional family member (limit four family members per class). Participants are encouraged to bring their own bicycles and helmets. Loaner helmets and bicycles will also be available on a limited basis.
The session will begin with classroom instruction, continue with a variety of bicycle drills in the Town Hall visitor parking lot (located along Brooks Street), and conclude with a group ride that will allow participants to practice their cycling skills.
