UPDATE: Asphalt spill reduces to one lane portion of northbound Capital Boulevard/US 1

UPDATE: All lanes have reopened.

Due to an asphalt spill, Wake Forest Police have reduced to one lane the portion of northbound Capital Boulevard/US 1 between Caveness Farms Avenue and Dr. Calvin Jones Highway/NC 98 Bypass. The incident is causing delays, so motorists are urged to avoid the area if possible and choose another route.
