Traffic Alert - Stadium Drive

Beginning today at 2:20 p.m., Duke Energy will close the portion of Stadium Drive from Wake Forest High School, 420 W. Stadium Ave., to McDowell Drive in 15-minute increments until approximately 3:30 p.m. The periodic road closure is necessary to allow crews to install overhead power lines.
Signage and flaggers will be in place to manage traffic flow and safely direct motorists through the work area. Delays are expected, so motorists may wish to avoid the area and take an alternate route.
