Sidewalk construction set to begin along South Brooks Street

Starting Monday, Aug. 23, Town crews will begin constructing a sidewalk along South Brooks Street from the Retreat at Renaissance to Elm Avenue. Weather permitting, the work will occur daily from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. and be completed in early September.

The sidewalk construction will not impact traffic along this portion of South Brooks but will limit parking.

For the safety of work crews, signage and cones will be in place to alert pedestrians and motorists of the work in progress.
