Raleigh man charged in connection with 2018 Bojangles robbery

Damien Lavae Herring, 40, of Raleigh, has been charged in connection with a robbery at the Wake Forest Bojangles, 12109 Cloverleaf Dr., on October 11, 2018.

Herring has been charged with one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon; two counts of first degree kidnapping; and one count of firearm by convicted felon.

He has also been charged in relation to two other robberies in Raleigh.

Herring is being held at the Wake County Detention Facility under a $1.95 million bond. 

A July 22, 2018, robbery at the McDonald’s located at 1001 Forestville Road is still being investigated.
