Police charge Herring in connection with 2018 McDonald's robbery

One day after being charged in connection with an October 2018 robbery at the Wake Forest Bojangles, Damien Lavae Herring, 40, of Raleigh, has been charged in connection with the July 22, 2018, robbery at the McDonald’s, 1001 Forestville Road.

Earlier today, Wake Forest Police charged Herring with one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon; one count of first degree kidnapping; and one count of firearm by convicted felon.

Herring remains in custody at the Wake County Detention Center under a $1.95 million bond.
