Monday, May 15, 2017 - 10:02am

Drivers may experience periodic delays Wednesday and Thursday, May 17-18, from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. each day in the vicinity of the Taylor Street/Juniper Avenue intersection.

Hollins Construction Services, Inc. will utilize a crane and a 75-foot-long trailer to set a precast building as part of the sprayground installation underway at Taylor Street Park, 416 N. Taylor St.

Motorists are advised that minor traffic delays are expected at various times each day.

Area residents are also advised that during construction portions of adjoining sidewalks may be temporarily closed for the safety of pedestrians and work crews.

The project is expected to be completed and the sprayground installed and operational by July 2017.
