Dream League Baseball registration begins Friday
The Wake Forest Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources (PRCR) Department will accept Dream League Baseball applications from special needs children ages five and older from Friday, Feb. 1, through Thursday, Feb. 28. Designed for both boys and girls, the adaptive baseball league will operate on Saturday mornings from April 27 through June 1.
Dream League is offered for area residents ages five through young adult. A player’s eligibility is determined by his or her age on April 30, 2019.
Thanks to the generous donations of presenting sponsors ShipOnSite of Wake Forest, GB Technologies, Inc., and the Savage Brothers, the registration fee is $15 for both Wake Forest residents and non-Wake Forest residents.
Volunteer Dream League “buddies” are needed to provide encouragement and assistance with the league’s athletes.
Online registration for Dream League participants and “buddies” will be available beginning Feb. 1 at http://wakeforestnc.recdesk.com/. Registration information and league rules will also be available Feb. 1 online and at the Wake Forest Town Hall, 301 S. Brooks St.
