CORPUD crews responding to ruptured water main along Durham Road

Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 7:40am

Crews from the City of Raleigh Public Utilities Department (CORPUD) are responding to a ruptured water main along the 700-800 block of Durham Road/NC 98.

For the safety of work crews, this section of Durham Road has been reduced to one lane with alternating two-way traffic.

Signage and flaggers are in place directing motorists around the work area. Delays are expected, so motorists are urged to avoid the area and take an alternate route.

CORPUD officials say residents in the area may experience low to no water pressure until the repairs are completed. The work is expected to be completed by 5 p.m.

Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
