Centennial Plaza, 301 S. Brooks St.

You're invited to experience the wonder and magic of the holiday season at the 2021 Lighting of Wake Forest on Friday, Dec. 3.

The festivities take place in Centennial Plaza, 301 S. Brooks St., the gateway to Wake Forest Town Hall. Presented by Wake Forest Downtown, Inc., and sponsored by Holding Village, this year's ceremony features the lighting of the Christmas tree and Santa's exciting arrival in a Wake Forest fire truck.

There will be a children’s craft activity provided by Wake Forest Woman’s Club, as well as musical performances by local groups. This year's featured entertainers are the Patriot Pride Honors Chorus from Heritage Middle School, the Heritage High School Jazz Ensemble, and Project Destiny, a local band made up of Duke Health Systems employees.

Free cookies will be distributed courtesy of Wegmans (while supplies last).

PLEASE NOTE: All Pictures with Santa slots during the Lighting of Wake Forest are full.

PLEASE NOTE: The lighting of the Town Christmas tree typically takes place at approximately 6:15 pm.
