Remote/Digital Work Bootcamp

DigitalBridge, through a partnership with the Town of Wake Forest, has launched a free digital learning platform to help area residents gain digital skills and access digital careers.

DigitalBridge focuses on digital skills training for people of all skill levels, particularly those in underserved communities. Training is designed for people looking to start a digital career, advance in a current career, or who simply want to learn digital skills for everyday life. Programs are matched with local and national employer needs, including both on-site and remote-work opportunities. DigitalBridge also performs job pairing for each participant with local, regional, and national employers.

Both in-person and remote learning is offered, ranging from basic digital literacy courses (Google) Productivity at Work, Online Business, Applied Work Skills, and Remote Work to more advanced digital certification courses such as Salesforce Administration, Digital Marketing, Project Management, and more. All participants take part in a detailed orientation and assessment process before being assigned a Digital Coach who will help guide them towards their next career and goals. Participants may complete each program at their own pace, but most take anywhere from three to six weeks.

DigitalBridge at Dubois will host a Remote/Digital Work Bootcamp on Saturday, May 21, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Dubois Center, 536 N. Franklin St. The event will have an informal, open house-style format, so participants may drop in anytime between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The bootcamp will allow participants to fast-track through the DigitalBridge onboarding and assessment process and meet with DigitalBridge coaches in person.
