Board of Commissioners Candidates Forum

Tuesday, October 22, 2019

The Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce will host an informative and interactive Board of Commissioners Candidates Forum on Tuesday, Oct. 22, from 6-8 p.m. at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre, 405 S. Brooks St.

The seven candidates vying for three seats on the Wake Forest Board of Commissioners will be present, including Anne Reeve, Greg Bartholomew, Jim Dyer, Heather Holding, Chad Sary, Sean Sullivan and Adam Wright.

The Board of Commissioners forum will occur first, followed by an interactive “meet and greet” with all the candidates.

The event is free and open to the public. Seats will be filled on a first-come basis.

Wake Forest residents who are unable to attend the forum can watch a rebroadcast of the event on Wake Forest TV 10 (WFTV 10) or on the Town’s website at www.wakeforestnc.gov/communications/wftv-10. Beginning Friday, Oct. 25, the unedited forum will be rebroadcast daily through Election Day on WFTV 10 at noon and 6 p.m. The 2019 Candidates’ Forum is the only forum that will be aired this year on WFTV 10.

Election Day in Wake Forest is Tuesday, Nov. 5, and polls will be open 6:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. You will not be required to show an ID to vote.

There is no early voting in Wake Forest this year for the Nov. 5 elections. Early voting is being offered in Garner, Apex and downtown Raleigh.

The deadline to register to vote is Oct. 11. To register to vote online, visit www.wakegov.com/elections/Pages/default.aspx.
