#StayStrongWF Gratitude Week

Gratitude Week#StayStrongWF Gratitude Week
April 27-May 1

The Town of Wake is wrapping up a series of #StayStrongWF contests in April by offering local families a platform to celebrate those things for which they are thankful during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

During the week of April 27, Wake Forest families are invited to share photos of people (friends, family, neighbors), places (local church, business, restaurant, park, greenway) and things (tissue, hand sanitizer) for which they are grateful.

Share Your Photos

Each family that participates is invited to share with us their photos through our online form.

Throughout the week, we’ll post on the Town of Wake Forest Facebook page the pictures we’ve received and upload them to our online photo gallery - at the top of this page. We also invite you to post your pictures on social media and use the hashtag #StayStrongWF.

What Happens Next?

At the end of the week, we’ll announce on Facebook three winners who will receive a special prize.

Not So Gentle Reminders

Finally, please remember that we’re all in this together, so we all have an important role to play in preventing the spread of COVID-19 in our community. Please do your part by practicing these health and safety guidelines:

  • Stay home (except for extremely limited circumstances)

  • Cover your mouth and nose when you cough and sneeze

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and warm water

  • Avoid touching your face

  • Keep distance between yourself and others

  • Clean and disinfect surfaces that get touched often
