The Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department is pleased to offer the following Family Movie Nights and special pre-show activities at Joyner Park:
May 25 - Incredibles 2
June 22 - Wreck It Ralph - Ralph Breaks the Internet
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the threat of rain, the June 22 event is relocating inside the Flaherty Park Community Center, 1226 N. White St. Beginning at 6 pm, kids 12 and under are invited to "get their game on" in a mobile video game truck offering the latest game titles and video consoles. We’ll also have Giant "Jenga", Bean Bag Toss, and Giant Connect 4. The featured film, Wreck It Ralph - Ralph Breaks the Internet, will begin at 8:30 pm. Reminder - no food or drinks are allowed inside the Flaherty Park Community Center.

Movie showtime is 8:30 pm. Please arrive early as viewing space may be limited.
Family Movie Nights at Joyner Park will also include movie-related pre-show activities beginning at 7:15 p.m. - except on June 22 which will begin at 6 pm.
May 25 - Become an Incredible!
Bring a t-shirt from home and we’ll add on an iron on Incredibles decal and make masks to become part of the Incredibles team.
June 22 - Game On!

July 27 - Culture and Crafts
Have your name written in Chinese characters, make Chinese lanterns and enjoy some games.
Aug. 10 - More than Meets the Eye
Kids and their families are invited to take pictures with a robot performer and enjoy a variety of arts and crafts. Bumblebee and Optimus Prime were originally scheduled to attend but are unavailable due to an interplanetary conflict.
Know Before You Go
These events are free and open to the public.
Be sure to bring a blanket and/or chairs. You may also want to bring bug spray, a flash light and umbrella - just in case.
Alcohol, smoking, and unleashed pets are prohibited
Assorted food vendors will be on hand selling snacks and beverages.
In case of inclement weather, the movie screenings may be relocated to Flaherty Park Community Center, 1226 N. White St. Updated information will be posted on the Town’s website, Nextdoor site and Facebook page and available by calling the Wake Forest Weather Line at 919-435-9569.
Smart phone users who have downloaded the Town app will also receive a push notification message concerning any schedule changes.
