Parking

Wake Forest's Arbor Day festivities are scheduled for Saturday, April 22, at E. Carroll Joyner Park, 701 Harris Road.

Hundreds of area residents are expected to converge on the park that day to participate in this popular community event, so parking may be limited. If possible, please take the opportunity to make plans with family members and friends to carpool, walk or bike to Joyner Park.

In anticipation of a tremendous turnout on April 22, parking will be permitted in the following areas of Joyner Park:

  • the visitor parking lot
  • in the flat, grassy area at the park's entrance

Overflow parking will also be available at the Cottage at Olde Mill Stream, 901 Barnford Mill Road.

Wake Forest Police officers will also be on hand directing traffic at the entrance to Joyner Park and at the intersection of Harris Road and West Oak Avenue.
