Arbor Day Expo

Scheduled for Saturday, April 21, the 2018 Wake Forest Arbor Day celebration will feature the Arbor Day Expo, a family-friendly event with entertainment, giveaways, information, demonstration, refreshments, and activities for the entire family.

Urban Forestry Board members will also be on hand distributing reusable "Tree City" grocery bags (limit one per household) and temporary tattoos for kids with the "Trees are Good" logo.

Residents in attendance will have the opportunity to learn about proper tree care and sign up for the Wake Forest Tree Steward Program.

Take a walk on the interactive Tree Trail to learn more about our native trees and the wildlife species that depend on them.

Children will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of fun and cool activities including making their own birdhouse and making a "tree cookie" necklace.
