Parking

Park & Ride 
A free shuttle service will be provided in conjunction with Sam's Club and Banks Kerr Family YMCA. Visitors can hop on one of two YMCA buses at the Wake Forest Sam’s Club (11460 Royall Cotton Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587) for the short trip into downtown.

The free shuttle will drop off visitors along Taylor Street, in the vicinity of the Wake Forest Police Department, and along South White Street, in the vicinity of the Wake Forest-Raleigh Express Park and Ride Lot (located at the intersection of White Street and Elm Avenue).

The shuttle will run continuously beginning at 9:30 a.m. The final shuttle will depart from downtown at 5 p.m.


Free Parking 
Free parking is available at several downtown locations for anyone planning to attend Meet in the Street. 

  • Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary Stephens Mackie Hall Parking Lot 
    Corner of Durham Road/NC 98 & South Main Street 

    Free parking is available throughout the day of the event. Walk down Durham Road/NC 98 past the roundabout. At the light, turn right on Roosevelt. Head under the rail road tracks and turn right on South White Street. Walk south toward the Wake Forest Chamber of Commerce (350 S. White Street) to access the event. 

  • Bob Johnson Lot 
    527 S. White St., Wake Forest, NC 27587

    Free parking is available all day in the gravel lot. Please do not park on the grass. Walk north down South White Street towards the Wake Forest Chamber (350 S. White Street) to access the event.

  • Across from Wake Forest Post Office 
    224 E. Holding Ave., Wake Forest, NC 27587

    Park along Holding Avenue throughout the day. Take Holding Avenue to White Street and head north towards the Wake Forest Chamber of Commerce (350 S. White St.) to access the event. 


Handicap Parking

  • Depot Parking Lot, 110 S. White St.

  • Upper SunTrust parking lot, 353 S. White St.  

  • Wake Forest Renaissance Centre parking lot, 405 S. Brooks St.
