WAKE FOREST, NC – August 30, 2012 – The Wake Forest Parks and Recreation Department will accept youth basketball league applications for boys and girls ages 5-17 from Tuesday, Sept. 4, through Friday, Sept. 28. The fee is $40 for WakeForest residents and $80 for non-residents.
Registration forms are available online at www.wakeforestnc.gov/residents/parksrecreation_youthathletics.aspx and at the Wake Forest Town Hall, 301 S. Brooks St., during normal business hours.
Returning participants may register in-person at town hall or online at http://wakeforestnc.recdesk.com/recdeskportal. New participants are required to register in-person and provide a birth certificate.
A participant’s eligibility is determined by his or her age on Jan. 1, 2013. Team practices will begin in November and games will be played from December through February.
