The Wake Forest Town Hall and other administrative offices will be closed Monday, Nov. 12, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday.
Yard waste collection will be suspended Nov. 12, but police, garbage and recycling services will not be interrupted. Wake Forest bus service, including the Wake Forest-Raleigh Express and the Wake Forest Loop, will also follow the normal schedule.
From Tuesday through Friday, Nov. 13-16, the town will follow its normal yard waste collection cycle beginning with Monday's route and ending with Friday’s route. Crews will complete each day’s route before starting on the next. In order to ensure that all neighborhoods are serviced properly, residents are urged to leave their normal yard waste and loose leaves in separate piles at the curb by 7 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13.
Please avoid placing items on or near mailboxes, utility boxes, utility poles, or other fixed objects.
The normal yard waste collection schedule will resume Monday, Nov. 19, at 7 a.m.
Bulk pick-ups will be scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 13. To schedule a bulk pickup, call 919- 435-9570 by 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9. Residents who call after hours may leave a voicemail message that includes their name and physical address. Residents may also request a bulk pickup by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Town offices will re-open Nov. 13, at 8 a.m.
