The Town of Wake Forest is seeking community-minded citizens who may be interested in serving on the planning board to enroll in the Wake Forest Planning Board Academy.
The Planning Board Academy is a comprehensive training program designed to prepare residents of the town and the extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ) to serve as members of the Wake Forest Planning Board.
Participants enrolled in the academy will attend one, three-hour training session per month, for five months. The sessions, which begin in October, are held on Monday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. The program is limited to 10-15 participants per session.
