The Wake Forest Police Department hosts an annual Carnival to raise money to provide the D.A.R.E. program with resources to purchase each graduating student with a certificate, a T-shirt, and other awards. The Wake Forest Police Department's DARE program is offered to elementary and middle schools, grades 5th and 8th, as well as teaching courses to K-4 grades. The DARE program teaches kids to make healthy decisions regarding drugs.

The Wake Forest Police Department recently held several graduations at area schools.
Students complete a 10 week training program to meet the requirements for graduation
from the DARE program.
