The Town of Wake Forest offers water heater, heat strip, and air conditioner load management incentives to its existing residential and commercial customers, while installing load management controls on all new residential services.
Appliance Rebates
Install a new energy-efficient heat pump, contact Andrew Brown at (919) 435-9466 to sign up for Load Management and apply for the energy rebate credit. Once completed, the Town of Wake Forest will credit your utility bill $300*.
Install a new energy-efficient electric hot water pump, contact Andrew Brown at (919) 435-9466 to sign up for Load Management and apply for the energy rebate credit. Once completed, the Town of Wake Forest will credit your utility bill $150*.
* The Load Management control must be installed for one year or you will be billed for the full amount of the rebate.
