ACE Team

The Aggressive Criminal Enforcement (ACE) Team is a special services unit created by the Wake Forest Police Department to provide a more focused response to street crime and crimes against persons. Formed in 2007, the ACE Team performs many duties including street level drug enforcement, fugitive apprehension, community-related policing and patrol supplementation. 

The main area of coverage for the unit is the northeast area of Wake Forest, although the team spends time in all areas of town. The ACE Team enforces traffic laws as well as criminal law and drug enforcement. The squad also assists with various special events at the direction of the Deputy Chief of Police and Chief of Police.

Currently, the ACE Team consists of three police officers, including a supervising sergeant. The following officers are members of the ACE Team:
