Kids Chefs (ages 9-12) Learn beginning kitchen skills including measurements, kitchen safety, and how to cook a full course meal. A different recipe will be taught each day. Participants will be exposed to a variety of different tastes and textures. Instructor: Lynne Mullins Fee: $85 Jun 23-27 Mon-Fri 9am-Noon
Woodcarving Camp (ages 12-16)
Students will be given step-by-step, hands-on instruction on carving an animal in the round, using buckeye wood materials. An explanation of different types of woodcarvings and wood toxicity will be addressed. Demonstrations on tool safety, basic sharpening techniques, and stropping to maintain a sharp blade will be emphasized. Additional information will be provided on tool catalogues and wood carving magazines. Participants must bring a black Xacto Knife or woodcarving knives. All experience levels welcome. Green Thumb Camp (ages 6 -12) Learn about plants, herbs, environmental concerns, how to propagate different plants, and make some nifty craft items! Instructors: Master Gardeners Fee: $25 Jul 21-24 Mon-Thu 9-11:30amBeginner Ballroom Dance & Etiquette Camp (ages 11-18) This high energy dance program is designed to teach teens the necessary skills to navigate any social setting with poise and grace. Learn the proper way to dress for success, sit, stand, walk, and interact with individuals in any environment. We will learn six major dances of Fox Trot, Waltz, Tango, Rumba, Cha Cha, and East Coast Swing. We will also learn club style dances such as Samba and West Coast Swing. No partner necessary. Animal Art Camp (ages 9-12)

Beginner Acoustic Guitar Camp (ages 9-12)

Advanced Ballroom Dance & Etiquette Camp (ages 13-17) Students must have taken Beginner Ballroom Dance in order to participate in the advanced camp. No partner necessary. Tiny Tots Sports Camp (ages 4-5)
Learn basic fundamentals, team work, and sportsmanship in a non-competitive atmosphere. Sports include basketball, t-ball, soccer, tennis, and football. Instructor: Beth Averette Fee: $75 Session II Jul 7-11 Mon-Fri 9am-Noon
Youth Acrylic and Drawing (ages 9-12)
Students will work with pencils, charcoal, and soft pastels. Instructor: Mary Benejam Fee: $55 (plus materials) Aug 5-Sep 9 Tue 4:30-5:30pm
Babysitting Boot Camp (ages 11 and older) Learn how to react in emergency situations and feel more confident as a babysitter. Learn CPR, choking management, basic first aid, business skills, and problem solving. Participants will receive babysitting certification through the American Heart Association and the National Safety Council. No written exam will be taken for CPR certification.
