The Wake Forest Parks & Recreation Department proudly debuts its DREAM LEAGUE baseball program in 2008. The league is designed for children ages 5-15 in the Wake Forest area who have special needs. The league will operate on Saturdays from April 26 through June 7 at Tyler Run Park.
Opening Day ceremonies were held on Saturday, April 26, with Mayor Vivian Jones on hand to throw out the league's first pitch!
The Wake Forest DREAM LEAGUE is the result of a vision of two brothers, Maurice and Nicholas Savage, who sought assistance from the Wake Forest Parks & Recreation Department in developing and administering this league.
