CONDUCTING BUSINESS WITH THE TOWN
Competitive bidding practices are utilized as required by North Carolina General Statutes and the Town of Wake Forest Policies and Procedures to ensure that the best value in goods and services is obtained through open vendor competition. In addition, the Town participates in programs that allow the opportunity to purchase under NC contracts and in cooperative agreements with other governmental units.
Qualified bidders are invited to compete for the Town's business by submitting informal quotations or formal responses to Request for Proposals when the Town needs to contract for materials, equipment or services. Request for Proposals are publicly advertised in local newspapers, and a vendor may request a copy of any current Request for Proposals by contacting Purchasing. Prospective vendors may receive future mailings for bid requests if they are on the vendor list. You may print the Vendor Information Form from this site, request a copy of the form from the Purchasing Division by calling (919) 554-6115, or e-mail Randy Driver. Complete and return the form via email or fax it to (919) 554-6118.
