2024 National Trails Day 5K/3K

The PRCR Advisory Board will host a family-friendly 5K/3K walk/run as part of National Trails Day on Saturday, June 1, at E. Carroll Joyner Park, 701 Harris Road. Check-in on the day of the event starts at 7 a.m., and the race begins at 8 a.m.
2024 Entry Fees
The entry fee for the 5K:
$25 before March 31;
$30 from April 1-May 14;
$35 from May 15-May 30; and
$40 the day before and day of the race.
The entry fee for the 3K:
$20 before March 31;
$25 April 1-May 14;
$30 May 15-May 30; and
$35 the day before and day of the race.
Please note: Registrations will be accepted on the day of the event. Everyone who registers before May 15 will receive a race T-shirt.
Registered participants may pick up their packets on Friday, May 31, from 5-7 p.m. at Joyner Park Community Center. Packets may also be picked up the day of the race from 7-7:45 a.m. near the Joyner Park Amphitheater.

Course Description
The USATF certified 5K and 3K courses will be run entirely within Joyner Park. A loop of the paved trails throughout Joyner Park will comprise the 3.1-mile course for the 5K and 1.8 mile course for the 3K.
There will be water stations along the course.
Strollers are welcome but will be placed at the back of the pack. Parents/guardians are allowed to run alongside participants.
